Instrument Solutions at the LABNL 2025 exhibition

From September 23 to 25, 2025, the LABNL laboratory exhibition will be held at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. During these days, the latest technologies, solutions, and tools for the laboratory will be presented.

LabNL Escape Room

On Wednesday, September 24, there will be a real Escape Room at LabNL. In the Biosecurity Escape Room, teams of up to six players will compete to be the first to unravel the biosecurity mystery. Participants will be confronted with a realistic laboratory scenario and will have to work together to contain a potential threat. Can you communicate effectively, apply the right safety measures, and use your analytical skills to find the right solution within the time limit? More information.

Sample preparation

 

  • The CG-900 Cryo-Blade™ cryogenic grinder from Cole Parmer has a large capacity for grinding and processing sample material up to 1 kg. Thanks to the homogeneous grinding of the sample, only 1 g is needed as a representative test sample from a ground batch of 1 kg. Read more.

This Cryo-Blade is a great addition to the successful Freezer Mill, which grinds samples up to 200 grams.

  • New SNRG digestion block – This system is particularly suitable for digesting your samples with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, and hydrofluoric acid(*).

On 26, 27 and 28 September 2023, the laboratory trade show LABNL will take place at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Here you will find the latest technologies, solutions and tools for the laboratory.

Freezer/Mill® exclusief bij Instrument Solutions

De Freezer/Mill® van SPEX SamplePrep is sinds kort exclusief voor Nederland bij Instrument Solutions te verkrijgen.

Heeft u monsters die te taai of te hard zijn om onder normale omstandigheden te vermalen of heeft u monsters waarvan de samenstelling of structuur verandert door de warmte die ontstaat door conventioneel vermalen? De Freezer/Mill is mogelijk de oplossing voor u.

De Freezer/Mill maakt het monster eerst zeer koud met behulp van vloeibare stikstof en verpulvert het vervolgens door de slagkracht van een magnetisch staafje dat snel heen-en-weer beweegt.

De vial waarin het monster zit is gedurende de gehele maalcyclus  ondergedompeld in vloeibare stikstof en bereikt op die manier cryogene temperaturen. Belangrijke eigenschappen van het monster blijven behouden.

Geschikte monstertypen zijn o.a.: dierlijk weefsel, plantaardig weefsel, polymeren, gist,  geneesmiddelen, elektronische componenten, textiel,  haar,  tanden en botten.
