Pico-Pure Acid

Pico-Pure Acid from Analytichem (previously marketed as PlasmaPure Acid under the brand name SCP Science) is produced in such a way that it contains metal traces with a concentration of less than 1 ppb, and is intended for applications above 1 ppb that are mainly carried out using ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and AAS.

• A Certificate of Analysis is available for each bottle, stating the lot number, expiry date and maximum specifications for more than 60 analytes. This can be downloaded from the SCP Science website.
• The shelf life is 3 years for unopened bottles and 15 months for opened bottles.
• Available are nitric acid (HNO3), hydrochloric acid (HCL), and sulfuric acid (H2SO4).

For ICP or ICP-MS applications with a concentration lower than 1ppb, the Plasma PURE Plus product is suitable. This extremely pure product contains metal traces with a concentration of usually less than 10ppt and is therefore packaged in pre-leached Teflon bottles.
