De zilverionen van het reagens worden op het moment van de analyse precies en kwantitatief door een constante stroom tussen de donorelektroden opgewekt. Het omslagpunt wordt gedetecteerd \u00a0Het omslagpunt wordt gedetecteerd door meetelektroden die de verandering in conductiviteit meten wanneer zilverionen in overmaat in de oplossing aanwezig zijn.<\/p>\n<p>Applicaties:<br \/>\n<strong>Voedingsmiddelen- en zuivelindustrie<\/strong><br \/>\nDe meting van de zoutconcentratie (natriumchloride) in deze industrie is gemeengoed. Het vermogen om de zoutconcentratie direct weer te geven maakt dat dit instrument wereldwijd geliefd is bij laboranten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Industri\u00eble processen<\/strong><br \/>\nZout zorgt voor ernstige verontreiniging in industri\u00eble processen. De gevoeligheid van de coulometrische methode maakt het mogelijk om in het ppm-bereik te meten van ketelvoedingswater, polymeer wassing, boorgat slurries, alsook bodemanalyse et cetera. De 926 heeft voor vele studies over ontzilting en kwaliteitscontrole in het algemeen bewezen een omarmde methode te zijn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Klinisch<\/strong><br \/>\nVoor het monitoren van de elektrolytbalans van pati\u00ebnten speelt de meting van het chloride ion een essenti\u00eble rol. In combinatie met natrium en kalium speelt dit ion een belangrijke rol bij het in stand houden van de balans tussen cellen, plasma en interstiti\u00eble vloeistof. Model 926s wordt ook veel gebruikt bij de diagnose van Cystic Fibrosis.
